Project Manager

Principle Purpose of the Job

The project manager must have experience with handling projects from start to finish, must have excellence customer service skills when it comes to dealing with the clients, and must be great with handling deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all company guidelines
  • Coordinate with architect that the design is free from code violations
  • At the beginning of the project work with the Tenant, Main contractor, project team and estimating department to ensure accuracy
  • Meet regularly to with relevant parties to discuss the status of the current project
  • Ensure that project is always following all safety guidelines and codes
  • Ensure works are carried out as per schedule with good workmanship
  • Attend all meetings and resolve site problems
  • Manage projects to achieve smooth project implementation and ensure successful delivery of the assigned project on time
  • Lead a team of site personnel
  • During the construction have the knowledge to anticipate unforeseen conditions such as gaps in construction documents, project being over budget, unrealistic deadlines
  • Maintain a good relationship with clients and consultant
  • Meet Management’s targets on profitability and cost control of projects

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Construction Management / Engineering or related construction field
  • Possess Safety certificate for Project Manager
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a project managerial capacity in local construction industry
  • Good working attitude, self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently
  • Overall project coordination and monitoring of progress
  • With ownership attitude
Accounts Executive

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for GL accounting including preparation of the monthly accounts to profit & loss and balance sheet level. Reconciliation of dedicated balance sheet accounts
  • Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and financial accounting regulations
  • Responsible for all statutory filings including financial statements preparation, yearly audit and the relevant tax compliance
  • Responsible for the financial audit preparation and coordination
  • Handle payroll, GST, CPF, IR8A and month end reports
  • Processing and Control of AR and AP
  • Perform bank reconciliation
  • Ensure accurate and timely month end closing of accounts
  • Assist in analysis of accounts
  • Able to multi-tasks and assist in other duties as and when required

Requirements:

  • At least Degree in Accountancy / ACCA or equivalent
  • Familiar with MYOB software
  • Working experience in development and construction industries
  • Able to handle full set of account independently and with 3 years’ experience
  • Meticulous, organized and able to meet deadlines
Senior Contracts Executive

Responsibilities

  • Main contract and Sub-contract administration
  • Settle VO with client and consultant, attend project meeting/vo meeting
  • Prepare main contract progress claim and site evaluation
  • Settle contractual issue with client, consultant and sub-contractor
  • Settle final account with client, consultant and sub-contractor
  • Provide support to project division on anything related with Quantity and Cost
  • Assist in project management, compiling project reports and documents filing.
  • Take off quantities for tender

Requirements

  • Min Diploma/ Degree in Quantity Survey/ Building Construction or equivalent
  • 3 years of working experience in handling contractual issues in construction industry
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Independent, proactive, resourceful, results-oriented and with a good eye for details.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is an added advantage
Public Relations Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Independent in email correspondence & letter writing
  • General administrative duties
  • Handling phone queries and customers’ feedbacks
  • Checking of project draft bills
  • Site visit to resolve customers’ complains (only when necessary)

Requirement:

  • Diploma, ‘O’ Level with relevant experience
  • Able to speak both Mandarin and English
  • Well-groomed & presentable
  • Willing to work under fast paced environment
  • Good interpersonal skill and ability to interact effectively with people of all levels
Environmental Control Officer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To advise management on relevant Acts & Legislation pertaining to environmental and health
  • Monitor to air, water (ECM) noise pollution, waste management and vector control issues
  • Liaise with license pest operator or agent
  • To monitor noise readings and advise management accordingly
  • To conduct regular site inspection, particularly on ECM, perimeter drainage system, silt facilities, poor housekeeping that will encourage pest breeding, workers living and cooking condition, sanitary facilities etc.
  • Together with health supervisor to discuss findings & recommend measures to the occupier to correct non-compliances and verification of action taken
  • Prepare fortnightly report to management on Environmental control
  • To act according to what is stipulated in the company’s environmental programme, conduct review and make recommendation for improvements
  • Conduct investigation on industrial diseases, pest infested area and implement measure to stop its spread & prevent recurrence
  • To liaise with relevant authorities on environmental & health issues
  • Implementation of departmental procedures to comply with ISO 9001; 14001; OHSAS 18001 standard requirements, documented procedures as well as client, companies, authorities’ requirements
  • Any other related duties assigned by superior from time to time

Requirement:

  • Must be registered with NEA
  • Holder of Class 3 driving license is an added advantage
Bim Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Manage process of exchange, collaboration and coordination of BIM with consultants, contractors and other stakeholders
  • Assist in BIM Execution Plan preparation
  • BIM Project support – authoring, collaborating and management

Requirements

  • A recognized diploma / degree in Architecture or relevant construction field
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in Local Construction Industry
  • Well-verse in local BIM e-submission process, requirements and guidelines
  • Skilled in Autodesk Building Design Suite
  • A team player, able to multi-task and with good time management
  • Able to communicate effectively in written and oral.
Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO)

Responsibilities

  • Upkeep the environmental health safety aspects of the company
  • Ensure accident frequency rate and accident severity rate below industry average
  • Achieve zero safety demerit points from Ministry of Manpower and other agencies
  • Continuous improvement on the EHS system through the effective implementation of ISO 14001 & OSHAS 18001 management standards
  • Implement practical pollution control measures, material wastage control and 3-R programs to safeguard the environment
  • Carry out training to all workers, staff and site personnel on EHS
  • Undertake necessary documentation, data, administration and communication activities needed to successfully fulfill responsibilities
  • Provide documentation for clients to comply with WSH requirements
  • Perform site inspection and training as a WSHO/ECO
  • Comply with company procedures, accreditation and industry standards
  • Produce assessment reports on time and comply with the format

Requirement

  • Candidate must possess a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree
  • (Environment/Health/Safety) or equivalent

  • Must be registered WSHO/ECO
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field
